A new video has been released to summarize the 2012 Women of Aviation Worldwide Week. Pink Floyd Music Publishers Limited gave their official permission to use "Learning to Fly" as the video's soundtrack. Keen aviatrix Annette Lynton Mason (wife of Pink Floyd's drummer) can be seen in the video, as she was one the pilots participating to the week's activities.

Following numerous recent website blog and news reports stating 'the death of online news distribution services/sites' etc release-news decided to come forward and report some of its own findings on the matter.
The argument as to whether news distribution services are effective these days has risen from several changes to Google. With organic search results becoming more 'real time' it was not long before bloggers started questioning news submission sites uses.
So does your average 'Joe's' blog become as effective as a well established online news submission service? Not really. In addition, it does not carry the weight of a high traffic news site, its importance to search engines will be less and so on...
